Vicky Opipari

Founder & President

Vicky Opipari brings over 17 years of real estate experience and a deeply personal commitment to improving housing access for individuals with disabilities across Colorado. As the Founder and President of C.H.A.D., she is dedicated to bridging the gap between the real estate industry and the disability community through education, advocacy, and financial support. Her passion for C.H.A.D.’s mission is rooted in her own family’s journey—as parents of an adult daughter with a physical disability, Vicky and her husband experienced firsthand the challenges of finding and adapting an accessible home that worked for their whole family. That experience revealed the significant barriers families face and the urgent need for systemic change, giving her a strong foundation in Universal Design principles and a deeper understanding that true housing equity extends beyond physical accessibility to include support for invisible disabilities, fair housing protections, and inclusive community resources.

Vicky’s professional expertise in real estate, combined with her comprehensive understanding of disability rights and housing needs, uniquely positions her to advance C.H.A.D.’s work. She currently serves on the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® (DMAR) Diversity Alliance Committee and is a member of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance. She previously served as Chair of the South Metro Denver REALTORS® Association’s IDEA Committee with an ex-officio seat on the Board of Directors and served on the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Mile High Board in 2024. She has also been engaged with and supported the disability community through organizations including Parent to Parent of Colorado, Peak Parent Center, United Cerebral Palsy of Colorado, Kids Mobility Network, National Sports Center for the Disabled, Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition, and Developmental Pathways.

When she’s not working toward a more accessible Colorado, Vicky enjoys spending time with her husband of 34 years (Chris), their two adult children (Lauren and Alex), traveling, hiking, reading, and relaxing with her two rescue dogs (Wafer and Lilo).
